Homemade Jam Films

I’m launching a new project. Sabotage & Dialogue Productions has two shorts coming out soon. But these were hampered, hindered, tangled and in many ways, simply delayed by adjustments I’m making to a new camera and new editing software.

My solution to this is the Homemade Jam Films, a project launched, well, as of tonight, by Sabotage & Dialogue. Homemade Jam projects are not meant to be professional level films. They are simple project films to use the equipment and software. This year we are adding to our stock of equipment and doubtlessly, some of the projects will simply be to use what we’ve newly acquired.

That said, no film is really interesting unless it has an audience. The premiere Homemade Jam film is The Dinner. The Dinner is a simple short, shot for my son, Soren. Small children in the Sesame Street age range may find it of interest. I started with this because it is a bit of a family tradition to make short films for the kids in our family for their birthday.
