Kat Ogden is a storyteller who writes, directs, produces, and acts. She has worked on numerous television series and films, such as Z Nation and Safety Not Guaranteed.
She also wrote and produced, and starred in her original short, Infested.
Currently residing in the Pacific Northwest in her own tiny corner of Tacoma, she lives with a son bound for the Olympics and a daughter who uses her magical powers whenever Kat isn’t looking.
Another lifetime ago, Kat was on one of the first reality shows. She was once in a roller derby league and is an quad skater, known to haunt the various cities she visits at night with her dusty blue roller skates. She likes ballet and hip hop, can read a book in a single bound, is a left handed blackberry picker, and holds the unofficial record for highest bungee jump of a building.

Kat Ogden is a multi-faceted storyteller engaged in the realms of writing, producing and acting. Her portfolio numerous television series and films, such as Z Nation and Safety Not Guaranteed.
Kat’s most recently short story, Leda and the Swan Hat can be found in volume eight of Creative Colloquy Magazine. Kat also wrote, produced, and starred in the original short, Infested. She is currently in development for her directing debut.
Currently residing in the Pacific Northwest, Kat is the Chair of the Seattle Film Commission, a proud member of both the Director’s Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA. She loves and respects the community and camaraderie of the Seattle Film Community.
